An audience appointment rewards your audience with points for interacting with your on-air, on-line or print content.
For broadcasters, this can be as simple as announcing a word/phrase on-air that your audience can then log on and input into your rewards program to earn points (e.g. – an 'Artist of the Day', 'Word of the Day', or a 'Bonus Code').
To better integrate into existing programming, an appointment can be created by simply asking a question about on-air benchmarks or programs (e.g. – Who was the first artist we played in the 9am hour?, Who was our first guest on the morning show?, What color was Steve the Weatherguy's tie this morning?). For print media, an appointment can be created by asking questions about print content or embedding code words into the content itself...
